Nevotex Narva OÜ Enhances Manufacturing Efficiency with EU-Funded CNC Technology
New automated cutting system reduces prototyping and delivery times for regional textile leader
NARVA, Estonia — June 25, 2026 — Nevotex Narva OÜ today announced the active deployment of its latest modernization project, "Nevotex Narva OÜ tootmisprotsessi efektiivsemaks muutmine" (Enhancing the Production Process of Nevotex Narva OÜ). Co-funded by the European Union, this strategic initiative introduces advanced CNC cutting technology to the company's facility, significantly optimizing local manufacturing workflows.
The project runs from March 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026, and focuses directly on the acquisition of a state-of-the-art CNC cutting machine. By integrating this equipment, Nevotex Narva OÜ establishes an in-house capability to cut filling materials directly on-site. This operational shift drastically eliminates manufacturing bottlenecks, substantially reducing the turnaround time required for both product prototyping and final customer deliveries.
The technological upgrade is financed under the 2021-2027.6.1 (EC No. 8.1) Just Transition Fund (Õiglane üleminek). The funding was secured during the second application round for investments targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises in the Ida-Viru region. The total eligible cost of the optimization project stands at €96,674.50, supported by an EU grant of €77,339.60.

The Just Transition Fund aims to enable regions and people to address the social, employment, economic, and environmental impacts of the transition towards the Union’s 2030 targets for energy and climate and a climate-neutral economy of the Union by 2050.
